Nikah

 A one-man show exploring forced marriage from the British Pakistani male perspective. Nikah is a coming-of-age true story about a young 15-year-old lad from Bradford whose world is turned upside down overnight as he is manipulated by those closest to him, to keep a secret which could destroy his whole life.

First staged in 2017, the show was produced and commissioned by Tribe Arts to enable ex-associate, Sid Akbar Ali, who used his real life experience to explore masculinity and sexuality and mental health from a cultural perspective often overlooked.
